Hi all,

I grew up with chickens and two years ago took some of my family’s young chickens to start my own flock. We currently have 6 hens and a rooster that are at least half barred rock. My husband and I are artists and we have a toddler that is absolutely obsessed with the chickens. She talks about them in her sleep, has to open them, close them, and check on them several times a day. Our chickens are members of the family and we love them dearly.
