Hello! My name is Amanda and I’m new to chickens with my first flock this year. We have 11 ISA Browns and 5 Easter Eggers ( one who is turning out to be a rooster I think oops! He’s pictured last). My fiancé and I moved into a late 1800s farmhouse last year and have been working to restore this chicken coop. The larger coop was unfortunately completely fallen in beyond repair. We had to clear out many dead and overgrown trees and debris as well as bring in some dirt to level the run. Excited to be here so I can learn as much as possible. We already had some issues with pecking so you may notice some purple feathers from the blu kote 
but they’ve graduated to their big coop and run and the pecking seems to be resolved and they are loving it. Still gathering ideas for what to put in their run but they’re loving their swing already. Our lamb Elizabeth Taylor is also pictured. Looking forward to reading all these threads!
