Hello, everybody. I am a new chicken mom. My husband works on a farm feeding chickens and he decided to bring some home. We have 1 hen and 2 roosters all three cornish and then, when they got bigger, he found another one at his job that apparently, since she was kind of deformed they had to get rid of her so he decided to bring her home, which I love she's adorable, but I can't have her with the Cornish because they keep beating her up.
And then just yesterday. He found another 12 bring home, since he was at work and had to go deliver Hey to somebody, he put the little chicken in with some other chickens, and when he got back, she was kind of bleeding her back feathers were gone and I don't Know what to do. She looks like she's okay. She's walking around and everything, eating right now, but should I be putting anything on her wound? It's not really bleeding anymore, but I just figured I'd ask if I should be doing anything else. And if anybody knows because I got some chicken diapers that are supposed to come tomorrow so she can come in the house.Do you think it might still be safe to put them on her??
