I live in Eastern Oregon and I am the proud owner of 4 Rhode Island Red Hens. They are a year old and good layers. I have found having back yard chickens to be a fun adventure. I enjoy watching them, and I just started letting them out of the pen to roam around my yard. They came right back to the pen in the evening without having to coax them in. I love having fresh eggs to eat and share with my friends and family.
