Hi umm Im new..and not good at introductions. Well I have four chickens, two black hens, a Brahma rooster, and a Sumatra rooster. We are getting nine more suring the winter.
I don't know if I can ask this here....But My hen, Coretta, came without feathers, she lays eggs fine and otherwise seems healthy. The guy we got her from said that he and about fifteen roosters and they just started plucking out the hens feathers. Will she be okay? We live in Minnesota and it will get pretty cold during winter. And how long does it averagly take for a chickens feathers to grow back?
from S. Florida! Glad you joined! As far as the feathers growing back in, I'm not for certain there. Someone on the forum will show up with your answer. You'll find lots of good info here, you'll see.
