hello

Hi and
welcome-byc.gif
. This place is great for any questions you have about chickens. What kind of chickens do you want?

thanks for the warm welcome!

i'm in central vermont and am looking for blue orpingtons.

if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know, i'd be looking for half a dozen pullets to start.

i'm an architect and am looking forward to designing and building a moveable and a stationary coop.

Remember that when you design your coops you are required by law to posts picks, giving detailed instructions and all measurements!

Welcome!
Advice number one, have the coop and brooder up and ready before you order the chicks. it always takes more time than it should. They are really dusty in the house... and loud... and dusty.
