Hi, wanted to introduce myself. My name is Doug and i am new to the whole world of chickens. Didnt think it would be that interesting to raise chickens but since I got my chicks I have found myself engulfed with this new hobby. I am not supposed to have chickens where I live but it is supposedly going to be changed and I am not going to wait around until it does. Even if it didnt change I think I would still have them. I just like the idea of getting my own eggs and not worry about buying them and not really knowing how old they are or where they came from. I am also a hunter and my wife grows a nice garden full of vegetables so being self sustained is starting to come full circle for me. The less I have to buy the better. Looking forward to watching this website and learning all that I can.
