Hi! I'm Lora. We are currently raising several different breeds of chickens. We also decided to get a few turkeys. We have 2 males and 2 females. We have so enjoyed watching and interacting with all of the birds. They all run in the back yard, but go to the coop at night.
I look forward to learning from and interacting with other people who enjoy raising chickens. I call them my birds. Most have names. We have approximately 30 chickens of various breeds and then the four turkeys. Also, 3 dogs...which coincide well with the chickens. Although, one of my Toms will fight my big black and tan hound, Rose, for her dog food. lol

Wow! That's quite a flock. I only have 13 birds at the moment, but I'm sure it won't be long until I get to 30!

Poultry is kind of an addiction.
