I come by this forum every now and then, but I finally decided to join.

Often I have questions with our farm animals in raising them or such, so I do searches on the internet, and for this reason I thought maybe it will be helpful to have joined this site so I can search it or ask when I have a question.

Currently, we have 13 hens and recently we bought 4 little barred rock rooster chicks since our good old fellow passed on during wintertime and we needed another. So hopefully one out of the 4 will turn out somewhat like him.

We also have 6 goats, 4 young turkeys, 2 goslings we bought last week, 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 bunnies and a bluejay which we rescued.

Anyway, I just thought I would say hi and introduce myself a bit.
