My husband and I live in Eastern NC. We have four dogs: Belgian malinois, Australian Shepard blue heeler mix, chocolate lab, and (we think) Pyrenees Shepard breed. Three of them are rescues, lab was supposed to be for duck hunting. We have a bantam gold colored chicken, red leghorn, Muscovies, and magpie ducks. We recently lost one magpie to a broken egg which we think was caused by an opossum that got in the other night. We've had the ducks and chickens for about two years. Still learning so hoping to get some tips and help when needed.

thanks for the welcome. They get along good. Our yard is divided up so no actual interaction. The lab alerted us to the opossum. And the Pyrenees alerted us when the neighbors dog broke the fence and killed two ducks. So they do guard the backyard from intruders.
