Hi everyone! I am a new member to this site, but have used the website now for quite some time for information and love reading posts and stories.

I live on a large semi-rural property, and we have two black silkies, an isa brown and have recently added an orphan (muscovy?) duck to our family!

Our black silkies are named Connor (rooster), Blackie (hen) and our isa brown is named Henny Penny. Our duck is Ash

I have two children aged 9 and 5, and they adore our chickens and duck! We are looking to add more to our coop soon and cannot wait.

We also have four large ponds with wild geese, wild ducks and swamp birds, along with shetland ponies, 2 sheep and a goat. We are based in South Australia.

I am looking forward to meeting you all and joining the community!

Haha, drumstick diva- no emus as yet... although plenty of wild ones in the scrub across the road! Could be an interesting pet!! Thanks for the tip, I shall check it out
