Hi from Sozo Acres! We are a small hobby farm in Middle Tennessee (and we are on facebook). We got started on our homestead in 2012. Now we are starting to breed LF Salmon Faveroles, Dorkings, and Dark Cornish (a.k.a Indian Game Bird). Our goals as a farm are to be a sustainable, permacultural farm that raises, improves and preserves heritage breed animals and plants and works to educate others about their food, their health and the environmental impact of big Ag. Right now, my goals are to open up a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) from our garden, adding eggs and chicken and then pastured pork; and to learn how I can improve the breeds we are raising toward the SOP (Standard of Perfection).

So glad you could join the BYC community! Hope your hobby farm goes well. You've picked out some lovely breeds to raise! Though I've never kept Salmon Faverolles, I've always admired their beautiful coloring and gentle temperaments. Heritage style and quality chickens are all beautiful. Good luck with all your goals!
