(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes I am new to chickens, I just built a coop and run and added chickens last Friday.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 6 Chickens
(3) What breeds do you have? 5 are Red Sexlinks and one is a black one (not sure of breed)

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I am a motorcycle enthusiast. I ride a Harley Electriglide and do a few long trips each year.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I live on what used to be a 400 acre dairy ranch in Petaluma California, which used to be the egg capital of the world. My mother-in -law grew up on a chicken ranch with 4,000 birds. I'm married 7 years (second time around) I'm about two years from retirement. I'm a fleet manager at a wholesale plumbing distributor, (hence the name truck guy) I have four dogs, 3 pugs and a boston terrier, and an african grey parrot. My in-laws are very close by with four cats and a pitbull. Chickens are something I have been wanting to do for some time and I am excited with the venture. I built my own coop and run and put in 6 pullets that are 18 weeks old. I'm looking forward to some farm fresh eggs soon.
