My cousin is on Hell's Kitchen!!! She is a very distant cousin that I have never met but have always heard of while growing up. I've been watching her on TV and it feels weird. Always heard about Julia when I was younger and I'm sure she always heard about me but we never met. She had a rough life and works really hard at a Waffle House. It seems like alot of the others on the show make fun of her because of her job there. But she has come along way already on the show. So proud of her. Especially last week when she wouldn't let the other women use the spagetti she got outta the trash. She also did well taking on the kitchen for the breakfast they did for the service men! Everyone watch and root for her! I think a girl from Oklahoma that works for a Waffle House has come a long way to be on Hell's Kitchen!

Oh how cool, Judymae!! Julia is actually one of my favorite people. I was worried she's get eliminated because all the girls were ganging up on her. The witches!! Luckily that garbage picker came clean, so to speak and she wasn't put in front of Ramsey. So what if she works in a Waffle House....one of the top girls first season was a stay at home mom and she rocked, came in 4th, but she was stabbed in the back as far as I was concerned, and probably could have taken the win. If you love what you do and are determined it's anyones game.

Anyway I LOVE Hell's Kitchen. I love Gordan Ramsey. I don't think he's as evil as he lets on (seen some of his other shows on BBC) but I know he'd make me cry in the kitchen! I would love to learn to cook like that. I'm always feeding my DH my experiments and so far only a few have been inedible...LOL

Hope your cousin does well, Judymae! I know I'll be watching.

I am addicted to watching Hell's Kitchen on Monday nights!! When I first saw the show, last year, I thought he was a real jerk but after understanding he is giving away a multi-million dollar restaurant to the best of the best!!- I totally understand, though, I wish he wouldn't degrade them so. I love that show! Julia is one of my favorites and I have been rooting for her especially since the other females said, "she doesn't even know what some things are called!". So what she has outdone them! She will have to be fast learner!! I don't care for any of the men. Now tell me, don't you think the producers could find people who really are talented and not put up wooses for Ramsey to mutilate? LOL Good luck to her I have rambled enough.

If any of you get a chance to watch "The F Word" (F stands for Food in this case) then do . . . each series Ramsay raises farm animals and then uses them as the centrepiece at the end-of-series show. Series one was turkeys, series two was pigs, and this series it's been sheep.

Except the sheep ate all the grass in his back garden (what a surprise), so they had to be moved to an equally small backgarden belonging to some other celeb. In the end they get moved to Beckingham Palace (as in, the mansion belonging to the Beckhams, not the Royal family lol). Obviously he wasn't listening when someone told him about pasture management.

I LOVE watching Hell's kitchen - I have seen EVERY episode!

Julia is one of our favorites as well, it just annoyed us that they all got all mean to her in the beginning JUST because she works at a Waffle house! Without even giving her a chance - Then to make us SO HAPPY - seemed she was the only one who could fry a dang EGG!

GO JULIA!

Thanks everyone! I talked to my grandmother (Julia's great aunt) today and she told me that when Julia finished the show (we don't know how far she got because she isn't allowed to say) she started a catering business and then a restaurant beside her closed down so she bought it and is doing soooooo well

that she has customers lined up and down the street!!!!!! I'm so happy. I have never met her but have heard alot about Julia my whole life. She is a bit younger than me and has grown up a totally different life than me. (Oklahoma, bi-racial, and with the different side of the family) I know times were tough on Julia until she became a Christian and then her whole life turned around. I'm hoping for the best for her! I'm glad to see she has sooo many fans! I've gotta call my grandmother and tell her. Julia's mother is my mothers cousin. Her mother lives in the Dallas area. I think I'll share the news of Julia's fan base with her too! Thanks again!
