, it's pretty common for the producers of the shows to manipulate the time sequence of events & whatnot. i wouldn't be surprised if they've switched things around to look like the "family tasting" was after julia was kicked off the show, instead of before hand. and the day of fun was a distraction. it's sad if so.

i agree with ozark hen, i don't think race has anything to do with it.

i'm sure it was all for the best ratings, whatever it is that the producers decided to do.

i'm glad sherry is comfortable with herself. must be nice, i'm as self-conscious as they come. good for her.

seems your family has overcome a lot. i'm glad julia is becoming successfull in her catering and restaurant biz.

Okay update from my grandmother (Julia's aunt) and she said Julia hadn't been in contact with her family for awhile and everyone had been concerned. She hadn't been returning calls or emails or anything. Family just thought she was upset over being kicked off the show and that it was hitting her because she saw it on TV. Anyways ~ she was at culinary school! Her restaurant wasn't doing as well as it had and she took Chef Ramsey up on his offer! She has 2 weeks left! I'll let ya'll know if I hear anything else about her.

Bravo Julia!! I have to tell you, I was a bit disappointed in her for not taking him up on that offer as she really did need it. There will be no stopping her now. She has what it takes to be a great chef and she really did need the schooling if she was to continue with the fine dining. Anyone can do short order..so to speak...but she had something special. I am so proud of her!!
BTW..last night...I cannot tell you how disappointed I was that Jen got kicked off. I know the blonde had a good sense of taste but...she admitted that she really didn't want it!! That blew me away! I hope Rock will get it but he sure needs to get some control first of the kitchen and staff. I pray he gets it.

and about last night, it crossed my mind that jen was kicked off to make it a shoe-in for rock to win. blonde chick doesn't stand a chance against him imo.

I don't think Bonnie has a chance. Rock will get it but someone needs to tell him about a sweat band that he could wear on his head. If he is sweating so much that he can't see then you know his sweat is dropping in the food! Yuk!

Darn, about Julia's restaurant...
I'm so glad that she's going to culinary school.
I saw last week and it was Rock's, Jen's and Bonnie's moms...I think it would have been great to see Julia's mom too...
Most of us don't look like Angelina Jolie, unfortunately we're more likely to look like Roseane.
I was so surprised that Jen got kicked off...she's so much better than Bonnie. Rock is such a pompous know it all, that I wanna
