Figured my first post should be a 'hi' post. I've been lurking here for quite some time but I think I'm ready to participate now !

My family and I have had a life long dream of homesteading, and just recently moved into our new home on 20 acres. No chickens yet! Watching and learning first--- We are doing ducks first. But I'm SO excited about fowl in general and I'm eager to learn as much as I can.
