Did you assist this hatch? If you see the yolk sac it has not absorbed yet. As it is absorbed it will slowly shrink until it is completely gone and not visible. The duckling is not trying to kick off the yolk sac, but still mimicking the movements of trying to push off the shell. Usually they will continue to do so for a few hours. Your duckling needs to be kept in the incubator until the yolk is finished absorbing. Usually in a cup or small container, but your incubator looks a little small for that so I would just leave it in the incubator without a cup. That yolk sac is still large enough it may take up to a full 24 hours for the yolk sac to finish absorbing. Your duckling will not be able to even start practicing walking until a couple hours after it has finished absorbing and even then it may take a little longer for this one. I would also not expect your duckling to be hungry or for 1-2 days which is nothing to worry about. If you have farm stores near you I would highly recommend picking up Poultry Cell to give it a vitamin boost after you move it to the brooder. I have found that assisted ducklings that have hatched with the yolk sac still not fully absorbed often have trouble walking if they do not get a good dose of vitamins.
