HELP 😭

We reduced some ex battery hens around 8 weeks ago. This lady had an enlarged crop since we got her and it’s progressively getting worse. We called the vet and he said he doesn’t want to go down the surgery route. We have tried everything, yogurt, garlic, ACV, starvation days, massaging but I feel she’s in a lot of discomfort now. Any suggestions to help her?

Is her crop full and hard? Have you tried giving a tsp of coconut oil, chilled and cut into pieces, then massaging the crop? Sometimes a crop problem can be related to pressure in the abdomen due to reproductive disorders, internal laying, ascites, or cancer. Here are some articles to read about crops:
