Have 2 8 wk old Buff Orp. Over last couple weeks there is a distinct difference in growth. About week 3 our Airedale ran into the garage, jumped in our 100gallon tub where we keep our chicks and had obviously picked her up in his mouth. (She was all wet when we got on scene). She has never been the same since. She’s slow to develop, slow to grow, slow to everything. This last week I noticed she kinda walks like she had a stoke on her right side. Makes me sad to watch. Her sister keeps up with the other chicks, but she just lags behind, when we put them in the yard, and just rather sleep in the sun. I’m worried she is not right and I might have to put her down. Something I don’t want to do, but I don’t have the first clue. I read up on the neurological issues and it doesn’t seem to fit, along with diseases. Just don’t understand the issue. I’ve only been at this a year amd the rest of my mature flock is fine. Just this little one we named Hawn. (Her sister is Goldie :)

Three pictures. One is the top view. Her head always seems to be to the right

next pic is her good side (left) and last pic is her bad side (right)

thank you for asking

Is she eating/drinking? Is her poop normal? Do you have a video of her walking. I had a chick with a neurological problem, so maybe I can help. She looks pretty good, hopefully she’ll be okay
I think she is and I only say that because she’s been with 5 others. Hard to know exactly. I have seen her in the past eat and poopjust not recently. I am watching her closer today. I just took a little video but I’m not able to add here, to show you and thank you so much for any insight. It really looks like she is off kilter and leans to the right.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions - unfortunately little Hawn took a turn for the worse this afternoon and we had to put her down. So dang sad, I hate I get so attached to these chickens but I do. RIP Hawn
