We have several standard laying hens, but have decided to try our hand at hatching some eggs. We have a separate coop and would like to breed polish bantams. So this might be a ridiculous question, but....we currently have a white crested black polish hen and rooster - both of which are frizzle. These were not supposed to be frizzled, but I love them both dearly. I know that I can't hatch eggs from this pair for fear of frizzle & frizzle breeding a frazzle. My question is I would like to get a smooth white crested black, white crested blue and a golden for a breeding quad to partner with my frizzle white crested black rooster. So if I keep them together and the frizzle rooster and golden smooth are together what will they produce? Is it OK to mix colors like that? Thank for helping a newbie!
