Help a kittie out please?

My mom rescued 2 kittens out of our tree a few months back and started feeding them which is great since they are awesome hunters... But my chickens keep eating their food. How can i make a cat feeder the chickens cant get...? Should i build them a tree house to eat in?

My chicks eat the dog food. They dont have any issues thus far. Unless the kitties food varies alot from the dog kibble or your kitties are going without i dont see a huge problem really.

Forgot to mention they are only outside cats so feeding them inside isnt an option and my mom is on a limited budget so really them not eating it would be ideal

Ahh. Your in a pickle. Do the birds free range? Can u get the kitties on a schedule so they know when it's chow time? May seem like a bit of work at first but once they know it will be beneficial for all.

Just put out a little food at a time a couple times a day. The kitties will learn they better eat while it's there and there won't be much if anything for the chickens.

Do the cats have some sort of shelter? I know some folks with strictly outdoor cats will make them.
If so you could try putting the food in there and having the door be too small for the chickens to go through.

Well thats the problem... Hes not even my rooster lol. They just love my yard the most.

They kinda sleep in cabinets in my carport which is doubling as extra storage so i cant really get there like them... Lol. They scale dangerous heights to get in the cabinets.
