HELP! Advanced bumblefoot or abscess on ankle

This is my pekin duck who walks on his ankle because of a disability. I had just noticed this lump on his ankle maybe 3 days ago but couldn’t remove it right away because of missing materials. It’s been the same since then however I tried to remove the initial scab that was on it and I am almost sure I got everything but the abscess still won’t drain. I can’t go to the vet so this is my only option and I’m leaving on a trip tomorrow (I have a babysitter to dress the wound) but I need to figure out how to drain it TODAY or it’ll have to stay this way for a week which I’m worried it’ll worsen…

That looks EXTREMELY painful, and nearly big enough to be a tumor. How is the duck reacting, and other birds? Are they pecking it? Is the duck limping? If it gets any larger and you are unable to actually help your duck, you may have to put it down.
