Help? Am I just worried?

Okay I have a chick thats of course in an egg... but the poor thing hasn't external pipped yet.. I could hear it allot this morning, but now I hear clicking and no pipping. It hasnt move the egg at all!
What do I do?! Wait another day? It is an EE egg.

I cant hear pipping if I tap hard on the egg... She gets scared.

21 today was its hatching day.

I am new to hatching eggs and Ive only hatched 1... this is our second. Broody's don't count... xD

We poked a hole in the egg and turns out... She was shrink wrapped!!! She was breathing heavy! We helped her a little bit and got her head out and now she is doing everything else on her own. She is pipping allot. She has to get the rest of herself out of the egg. I think she can do it.

good deal, be sure and check its feet, that's usually what suffers when they have trouble getting out, crooked toes, you did the right thing though...Roost

Do you have any other eggs in the incubator? The humidity was probably low that is why he got shrink wrapped, if there are other eggs you are going to want to raise the humidity so they dont get shrink wrapped as well. Good luck!
