Hello.

I have a 6 week old sultan chick named tweakers her beak is very badly crossed she can no longer eat I think, Her crop is always barely full.. I need help on how and what to feed her. I don't mean to sound like a jerk but if you suggest putting her down don't even bother on commenting please. I'm asking for help to keep her alive. She is a active happy chick. I'm willing to take time out of my day to do what ever she needs.

I just bathed her, and she is in the bag of food. Anyone who wants to help thanks so much! - Charley

I have one of these as well. named Lucky. Ive been feeding him separate twice a day. What should take him ten mins to eat takes an hour. Lately he seems not as good off as he should be. Wings hanging a little with fluffed up feathers. I would like to hear any answers available for this as well.. I dont wanna have to syreng feed him .

Thank you! Yours is amazing! I have a batch of bantam polish due to hatch next weekend.
My plan for lucky is to do my best and if he gets where he/she is bad off I'll make the tough decision at that time. I feel like the angle of his beak is getting worse over the last few weeks.

Well Tweakers is getting worse she can barely eat by herself but I found a infant med dropper.. I cut the pointy tip off and mixed a bowl of chick starter and warm water into a soupy mash... I fed her with the dropper seemed to work really well.. I'm so scared to tube feed her!

Omgosh I'm so sorry! How did you put her/him down? I'm going to have my father put Tweakers down I think Its sad she spends all her time trying to eat and dont get to be a chicken :(( So upset

I chose lack of oxygen. Put her in a bag she was soon gone. :( I didn't know what else to do. She had no fight left. I have three daughters who were pretty upset. Tho I spared them the details. Accept for my 11 yr old who I did share the truth with when she asked.

She had already lost the will to fight. After breakfast I places her in a zip lock bag. Pushed out all the air I could. Set her outside next to one of my plants. Went back a few hours later and threw the bag away. After confirming she had passed. I couldn't stand the thought of watcher her suffer over the next couple of days. I would let your dad do it if he will. It feels pretty crappy. But It wasn't the first animal I had to put down myself. I had a rescue chameleon last yr or so that I had to put down also.
