Hi there!

10 weeks ago I purchased eight baby chickens.
2 of them were a day old bantams - the golden one and the dark grey. ~ now 2 1/2 months old
2 of them were about a month old already - the two big ones (polish and not sure) ~ now 3 1/2 months old
the other four were about 1-2 weeks old - two english bantam?, one frizzle, and one white one. ~ now 3 months old.

They have pretty much stopped growing though. I understand that some of them are bantams, but they are TINY. I have attached pictures for reference. They are small enough to fit through a chainlink fence without effort.

Please advise if I should expect them to grow more / if there is something I should do to help them grow.

When they start laying they will likely fill out more, but many bantams stay dove sized into adulthood. It is very surprising at first, we got a bantam and didn't know how small they could be until it matured.

I hope this helps. And those are very pretty chickens!

thanks for the help

I guess I was just expecting them a bit bigger. Kind of like my old bantam.

I also was thinking they might get bigger since both of the regular sized chickens are still smaller than normal.

If they do grow larger, when abouts should I expect growing to stop??

I find that my hens usually stop growing around 15 weeks of age and my roosters around 20. Roosters mature faster then hens, but they tend to continue growing after hens stop.
