Hi there, new here 😁
I need help with a baby chick that was born with not being able to walk. It hatched almost 2 weeks ago and right away we saw it’s neck was twisted and it just kept falling backwards. Brought it inside to monitor it and I stuffed it in a sock with its neck out. By the 3rd that issue was solved ☺️ Now the chick is growing slow but nonetheless growing and it eats good n drinks but when I go to put it down it flips to the side and just scoops itself around, at times it does get on its legs an runs faster than speedy gonzales but it’s only seconds before it’s on its side again😔 I’ve tried vitamins already and I can see a bit of progress but I wish I knew how to help it more! Pls help! 🙏🏼 The picture attached is just so you can see how it likes to lay it always wants it’s feet stretched out 🤷🏻‍♀️

We can’t see both legs. Is either leg twisted? A clear picture of it standing from the front (holding it up if necessary) might be helpful. Slipped tendons and leg bone deformities can affect one or both legs. How is the chick eating and drinking so well with the leg issue? Does you vitamin contain riboflavin (B2?)

Thank you for the reply, I’m not home at the moment but as soon as I can I’ll upload a picture. It doesn’t seem like a deformity that you can spot the only thing I started noticing is, it tends to cross its right leg towards the left one. The right side is also we’re it tends to lay on also. Yes the vitamins I give her contain B2 and other ones too, can’t remember the name but it’s like the safe a chick packs, it was recommended by the feed store personal
