Help! Baby chick with an injured foot

I am a first time chicken momma and today I got a baby chick that has had it's foot caught in a snap mouse trap. The bleeding has stopped and it can walk but not very well. What are some natural pain remedies for baby chicks? And what can I do to help nurse it back to be able to walk properly again

Snap traps are designed to be fatal, so they can be extremely damaging. The chicks foot may be broken or fractured. I would take it to an avian vet or farm vet ASAP.

I agree that a vet is your best option. I'm so sorry. I hate when they get hurt. I always feel helpless.
