I had a baby hatch last night sometime, and I'm assuming the yolk wasn't all the way absorbed because there is yellow liquid yolk all over the bottom of my incubator, and the baby is dragging what looks to be a membrane or something that the yolk was in. It is red like blood, but solid. I'll try to get a picture for you to see. The baby is very much alive, but you can see it's tummy isn't swollen from the yolk. What should I do?

I hurried up and got pictures. I'm freaking out, so I wish someone can tell me what to do.

And here is where the baby hatched, and see all the yellow stuff mixed with blood at the bottom of the incubator?

There isn't much you can do, except leave it in the hatcher and wait. It is kind of hard to really see from the pic, it may be just the connection to the shell or it could be worse. I would just wait and see.

If the yolk was not fully absorbed and it busted, that explains the yellow. Unfortunately, IMO it usually ends up badly. I have lost a couple that way.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but with the attached piece being that red it is highly likely that it is actually intestine. I am sorry and I hope I am wrong, as I said, it is kind of hard to see accurately in the pic.

just wait and see, but don't want to give false hope. Although stranger things have happened. but i too have lost some like that.
