I have heard of neosporin for open wounds but I have never tried it

Yes, clean it and apply some neosporin...

probably I guess you should treat it like a wound on a human
clean in with a sterile bandage and then put neosporin to stop infections and maybe bandage it loosely with a cloth bandage.

flush it with a sterile saline solution. you can use a syringe or eye dropper or q-tip. then dab on neosporin with q-tip. apply some blu-kote so the flies won't lay eggs in it and it should keep the others from pecking at it.

We don't have blue-kote can I use Catron 4 or Granulex 5 on her?

I have no idea about those. I am so sorry. I know you could use vasoline, but I would think that would slow down the healing process.

I am sure someone will come along with some good suggestions. In the meantime I will try to look up those products for you.

Ok so I looked them up. The Granulex 5 is castor oil spray. Does that sound right? If so I would think it is ok. Just use a q-tip so you don' get in her eyes of course.
