Help!! Banty cochin is broody! How many eggs can i give her?

Ohh--My banty cochin is broody, can you tell me how many eggs they can sit on and hatch within reason? 3-4-5-6?? Thank You!

The typical rule is about a dozen eggs of the same size she lays; so about a dozen bantum eggs or half-dozen standard eggs. I usually give my broodies less eggs in the winter (about 8 banty eggs or 4 standard), so it's easier for them to keep them all covered.
