Well unless you know what the parents are can be hard to tell.
Dark pied do have white flights and a white throat patch.
White Eye can too
Birds split white too
Dark pieds out of silver pieds will be white eye
Now you can see why keeping birds pen and good records help.
People who let all birds run together, have no idea what color birds are split to.
IB not split are the cheapest
IB split to charcoal worth alot more than just blues.
It make take many years to find what a peafowl,color or pattern is carry hidden
Good reason not to buy eggs or birds from someone who keeps all their birds together.
