June 7 Sunday treat with Sulfa only one day
*June 8 Monday no medication for 4 days

June 13 Saturday treat with Sulfa only one day

June 14 finished the program and switched to regular water in auto waterer. Chickens looked good.

June 15---noticed blood and one dying chicken at 4pm, removed it from the coup
at 10 pm I noticed more blood near the waterer.

PLEASE HELP. My husband says I have to kill the remaining chickens tomorrow as he is worried about the disease spreading.
(I have layers in another coup and sell the eggs)

You can try and take the chicks into a brooder for closer observation. Are you sure they aren't getting pecked to death? Are you saying the blood you noticed is in the feces? If the blood is in the feces then I would assume it is coccidiosis, and treat with Corid, not antibiotics.

Hi, welcome to BYC!

I'm so sorry you're having this happen to your chickens. Losing one is bad enough but to lose several like this is really hard.

Here's a link to the emergencies/disease forum, post this over there and see if someone can't give you some help:

I hope you find out what's going on. Good luck to you!
