Help! Boy or girl silkies?

Hi everyone, I am new here! I just got my two silkie chicks about 8,9 weeks old. Can anyone help me to tell their gender? 1-3 pictures is the domino, and 4-6 is nugget. Thank you!

I also think cockerels. Especially with nuggets comb. But domino also has a decent comb for 8 weeks.

If you have them with other hens/pullets then that’s definitely a possibility that they’re fighting over girls. Though hens do fight occasionally too…

No, we are new to chicken. They are our first two members. I heard that you are only allowed one cockerel at home because they are not goes well with each other.

It all depends on how much space you have, how many hens you have, if they’ve been raised together or separately, ect. Being silkies, which are typically docile, if you have enough space + hens for the two of them, you might be able to keep both.

For now, without hens you should probably keep both of them so they have company, they shouldn’t fight too much (at least not viciously, they might have the occasional peck/play fight with each other) since they don’t have hens to fight over, and then when you get some hens reassess the situation/get rid of the cockerel you don’t want as much.
