My call duck sat on 5 eggs, 3 babies hatched out yesterday and this baby hatched out last night or early this morning. When I went to check her out I noticed that she can’t walk. I got her away from mama and I noticed that her legs at the joint will not go straight. They’re stuck bent and the feet appear to be facing out to the side. I brought her in and have her under a lamp right now. Just wondering what I can do to possibly give her a good life. Or if that’s not possible, should I be euthanizing. I put her in water and she just floats. Can’t really move her legs. Please help! Give me hope or let me know it’s time to let her go.
