Hi,

So where I work has just run a egg hatching programme for the children to experience. We hatched 3 of 6 eggs successfully, I was thinking if adopting the chicks but before I do I wondered if anyone can tell me what gender they are ?? I've added a few pics from the day hatched to a couple of days ago.

They are bantam buff light sussex Breed I believe.

Many thanks for any help offered in advance

In a week try posting pics again and spread out a wing dont hurt them and post pics of the wings being spread so we can try to attempt to feather sex them

I do believe on the first picture their is a rooster there it just depends how old they are

do you live in city limits?Because Im thinking 2 hens and a rooster still could you possibly wait because they are way too young to be sure of anything

Welcome!
Feather sexing only works if the parents are selected for that trait, so don't worry about that one! With three chicks, you can't separate them, because raising one alone is just wrong/ unhealthy.
It's too soon to know sexes for sure, recheck in another two weeks, and then show combs and wattles.
They will be beautiful!

thought feather sexing works for all breeds your probably right though
