My husband and I just got 6 baby chicks. This is our first go raising baby chicks. We have them under heat lamps, in bedding, in a little pen in our garage. All went well....for about the first 5 minutes or so.
One of the chicks is attacking its wing. I'm not talking preening, but grabbing hold of it, yanking, and then crying cause of course it hurts.
What the heck is going on?! Are there chicken vets? What do I do??
