Help! Chick hatched but eyes aren't open, can't stand, and has a large bloody mass hanging from the rear

We are new to raising chickens. We have a hen that sat on eggs and hatched 4 chicks over the last 5 days. Two are totally fine, one died, and this last one she abandoned in the nest. It's eyes are not open, it's very weak and cannot stand, and it has a large bloody mass of something hanging out of it's rearend. We brought it in to put under the heat lamp since the hen has abandoned him. Is there any way it will survive? What is the mass and am I supposed to do anything for it? Please share your wisdom.

Photos? From your description, it could range from unabsorbed yolk to intestines. Keep her comfortable and post a pic so the BYC community can see what you're describing.

Here is the little chick. It did open it's eyes for a second and I heard a peep so that is new.

It's difficult to discern what's going on there from the photo. I'd put antibiotic ointment (without pain reliever) on the area to prevent infection. I'd also put it in a paper towel-lined cup to keep it from injuring itself.
