I am on day 21 and at 8am this morning I had my first little pip. It's broken away a bit of the shell since then but it is now 1:22am and it hasn't made much progress in hours. It's been moving and chirping a lot and I ended up canceling and I discover its beak is in the air sac and what I have been watching thinking it's a beak is actually a claw from its foot. What should I do to help it along or do I just watch and wait. It's got a lot of energy it's been kicking away at the hole for a while now..

Mal-positioned chick! There tuff to discern wether or not to help. If it's been 24 hours in that position, I'd interfere but that's just me. Proceed with caution if you decide to interfere, stop if bleeding occurs and wait a little longer for the blood vessels to shrink and the yolk to be absorbed.
