Help, chicken attacked by a horse

My friend just called and her chicken has one leg that is hanging like a noodle, can a chicken survive with one leg? Her comb is torn, but it appears that it isn't going to be a big problem. she also thinks she may have been kicked in the body but of course she has no way to tell for sure. It's the leg that she's worried about it appears the break is up high by her body. Could she splint it, or does anyone have any chickens with one leg???????? She's a great little girl and she doesn't want to put her down if she can survive!! Thank you!!

I would try to put the bone back as best you can, and splint it.

I believe chickens can livew/ one leg, but you would need a seperate coop i would think and a lot of extra care. I would rather see her walking around with a limp.
