Help! Chicken either prolapsed or …

Hi! I Just joined because i went to check in on my My friends chickens while he’s out of town and one of them has a very swollen vent area and it’s covered in black stuff and I can’t tell if it’s a scab or poop. Could be a prolapse? I am soaking her now. I am attaching a photo. Any suggestions?
