Help! Chicken got left out of coop overnight and is breathing weird.

One of my chickens got left out of the coop last night. Temps were 44 overnight. Found him outside this morning on his perch and he keeps opening his mouth and making a small exhale sound over and over every couple of seconds.

I put him in the coop with food and water and he isn't drinking or eating. He is letting me pick him up with ease and he usually dont.

Any sign of injury? Really look under the feathers. 44 degrees shouldn't affect an adult chicken at all. He also may be ill and that is why he didn't go in to begin with.
