Help! Chicken is acting weird and has a weird neck/face!

As you can see she has a lopsided neck. I have no clue what is happening! She is still drinking and eating. She makes some weird noises every once in a while. At first I thought it was sour crop but it looks different!

Any ideas??? Thank you!!!

That is odd. Can you get a look inside her mouth? Is her crop empty in the morning?

I just noticed it this afternoon. She is locked in the coop for the night. Tomorrow morning I will check to se with it is empty.

I have never seen anything like this. She makes weird noises every once and a while after she drinks

I’ve never seen anything like that either. It looks like she swallowed something or has some kind of growth

she seemed fine a few days ago. I have had chickens for many many years and haven’t even seen anything close to it. She is a very old chicken so maybe it’s related to that?

So I have seen something sort of similar though not in person. This thread is from a few years ago when my mom’s rooster got what she thinks was a tumor on his face:

Not much helpful in it because she didn’t really mess with it or do a necropsy and it was black which yours is not but he died pretty rapidly after she found it. Not saying it’s the same thing but it’s the closest I’ve seen to what you’re dealing with.
