One of my chooks has recently stopped eating, has become more timid and lethargic and her feet seem to be having trouble walking/curling up when she sits down. I have brought food and water to her, but she doesn't eat or drink. I am unsure how old she is, as we adopted her from a friend. She was adopted with two other chooks who have passed away (one several months ago, and the other only recently) so I am assuming she is the oldest chook I have. What could this be and is there anything I should be doing or is this just old age? She seemed a lot healthier than the other two chooks who passed so it seems unusual. She is currently resting in the dogs bed as she seems to enjoy this. All of the other chooks which we have are in healthy condition.

I’m so sorry I can’t help, not sure what’s wrong with your hen. Some advice though, you could post this again in the morning so more people will see it and respond! I’d advise you delete this one though when you repost. Hoping you get more replies 🙏😢

Has she ever laid eggs while you've had her? What do her droppings look like? Any signs of any respiratory issues, discharge from eyes, nares, beak, or coughing/sneezing? Does her abdomen feel bloated, between the legs below the vent? How does her crop feel, empty, full, hard, soft, squishy, etc. ?
What do you feed and how is she housed?
In the meantime, I would give her 1/2 a B complex vitamin daily (human ones are fine), it won't hurt and may help.
