New chick mommy here ‍♀️

Recently acquired our starter flock of rainbow chicks (the breed, not dyed chicks) about 2 weeks ago. Made the bad new Mom mistake of running up to the feed store and purchasing a single chick to replace my son’s favorite who the cat got, and just placing her with the flock (I know better now, purchased from the same group we got the first ones from so thought I was ok ). That chick appeared to have cocci (bloody poop, ruffled feathers and listless, died about an hour after I found her).
Started the whole flock on Corrid and removed one chick who was listless. Have been giving that chick the Corrid solution by dropper and she seems to be pulling around but now I’m worried about respiratory infection. I think I got some water in her nostril and now she sounds like a breathy squeaky toy. I’ve put Green Goo Respiratory on her beak and under her wings but she sounds if anything a little worse this morning so wondering if I should give an antibiotic and if so which one? She is still on the Corrid treatment for awhile so worried if I can give something with that?

Can you upload a video of her to youtube and provide a link?

Photos of your brooder, chicks, poop?
What dosage of Corid are you using?

Can this chick eat/drink on it's own?
If she aspirated fluids into her airway, it could cause some problems. If she doesn't improve you can try Tylan50 to see if that makes a difference.
Corid is a coccidiostat and I am not aware of any contraindications of giving Tylan50 while medicating with Corid.

Well I may be too late. Had a crazy day at the barn with a client’s horse having an emergency. Got home and my chick who was standing and alert and starting to eat and drink some on her own, is down with eyes closed and heavy breathing. In a panic I got some more fluids and a little watered down yogurt in her, and went and mixed 1/8 tsp doxycycline with 1/2 cup water (going off an article I’d seen online as we have Doxycycline on hand in the barn). Gave her .2mL but I don’t know if I got to her in time.
Chicks are on the .012% Corrid mix of 1tsp of Corrid liquid in 1 gallon of water. Planned to do that for 5 days and then switch to .006% for 2 weeks. All of the other chicks are looking bright and alert and eating and drinking. A couple are sneezing every now and then so I put the green goo stuff on their beaks and added a drop of VetRx to their water. Will try to upload video of my poor chick that is not doing well. I don’t know if she’ll make it til morning though. So sad as I thought we’d finally turned the corner. :,(

I have the sick chick on the severe doseage, the healthy chics are on the moderate. Should I increase them to the severe as well? I feel awful that I left her alone and she got so bad. She is occasionally getting up now and stumbling around her quarantine area. I’ll keep with her as long as she’s breathing, I just feel so guilty that my inexperience in giving her fluids and getting some in her nostril has gotten her so bad. :,(

I would increase it to severe for all the chicks.

Don't feel bad :hugs I don't think you did anything wrong. It sounds like she was already failing before you tried to get fluids into her. It's really hard to get drops into a chick.
You can try dipping a qtip in your liquid, then press it against her beak to allow her to take drops in, sometimes that a little easier.
