Hi all! Question...its going to be 43 tonight. My girls are 10 weeks old and out in their coop. Is that too cold for them at their age??? They have all their feathers, they are Australorps (if that matters!). I'm terrified to put a heat lamp in the coop, but could probably make a small clay pot heater if needed. Thanks!

They have been off the heat lamp a few weeks, and out in their coop a week. They were fine last night at 46, but my husband got me all worried! I put extra bedding in too.

They will be utterly fine.
I had 8 day old chicks out in the coop with blustering snow outside. They were tucked under mom most of the day but fine and dandy.

Tell me about all your different blocks!!!
I have a 4 year old Golden Comet and 21 months old Barred Rocks.
