Help confirm our suspicions

So this is/was Little Red, now Big Red. Was supposed to be a RIR hen but we are now about 90% sure it’s actually a rooster. This is part of my in laws flock. Both Red and the smaller breed Cali White(Elsa) are 4 months old. I have a RIR in my flock but don’t have a recent picture to compare. I know for sure that though mine is almost as large she doesn’t have the long sickle tail this one does.
