HELP! day 24 3 chicks hatches two died

We are on day 24 and we have a still air incubator .. we kept it at 99.5 (per website instructions for specific incubator)
we have had three eggs hatch and two have died.. the live chick is doing fine but still wet (after 10 hours) and still in the incubator.
the problem is that we are pretty sure that we have a ROTTEN egg! it is really smelly and we do not know if we should make the healthy chick hang out in the rotten incubator any longer? Open incubator to remove healthy chick (dead chicks already removed) and place separately in brooder or just leave and ignore smell?

Definitely remove the chick and the egg! I actually break the rules here and always take my chicks out when they first hatch to go in the brooder.
Sorry your hatch didn't work out to well.

I would post this question here for best results: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs I would get the rotten egg out right away yuck.

Remove the chick and the rotten egg. Did you calibrate your thermometer? 24 days is on the far outside edge of normal for incubation. Welcome to BYC.
