Help...Depressed silkies???

I would say to get some eggs and put them under her and get ready for some chicks
I know of 1 way to break a broody hen and I only use it if I have to and only in the summer i get a 5 gal bucket fill it with water and put ice in it and than take hen and put her in it for 2 or 3 min just enough to get all wet and drop her temp just a little and that usely(sp) works for me

lordy....you must be made of stronger stuff than me,I couldn't do that.
I don't want any chicks either as I'm new to all this and just trying to manage the 2 I have. Feel sorry for her more than anything and wouldn't be concerned if I could just get her to eat a little.
