Hey guys:
I am an engineer by profession and I have developed some small gigs for my bator/ brooder earlier. Now, I am planning to develop a mobile app too to schedule tasks and some other stuff. As I am a newbie to this trade, I have not much insight on how could I make it more helpful. I really do hope that you guys are very rich experienced and can help me out to sort out what I should include in it. I am planning to sell it for free so that everyone can use it easily :).

Thanks

Hey QuailRaiser. Thanks for backing me up :). Well the app would not exactly be for this forum, I mean it would focus on the daily backyard chicken owners in general. Some features that I got in mind is that setting reminders for rotating the eggs or collecting the eggs etc. I really do hope that I will get very valuable feedback from here.

Are you looking for general husbandry tasks for scheduling? when fed, how much fed, do you need to buy more food when you are in town, when was the last time you wormed them, do you need to buy meds for anything, when a med expires
or a mobile app for tracking info on your flock - like when you got your birds, how old are they, what is the egg production (ie. 5 eggs from 8 birds today) , breed,
or even hatching info like - when eggs were set, when are they due to hatch, when do you need to turn the eggs, you could also track incubator temp and humidity, how many hatched per how many eggs were set. Candeling dates and results.

Lots of stuff you could set up to track.

WOW. You got some really cool ideas I must say. That sort of input is what I was talking about. Thank you very much wyoDreamer. I'll try integrating most of them in the app.
