Help- Do I have a rooster

it looks like a pullet to me. one of my RIRs grew her comb and wattle at 3 months old. it just means she is getting closer to laying age, maturing faster than the others.

Another Twin Cities chicken keeper!

I'm no expert, but your BO is just a week younger than ours and the comb and wattle on this chicken are MUCH bigger and redder than those of our BOs.

Still, as I recently told a friend, it ain't over till the big chick crows!

Good luck!

you should be able to tell if there is a drastic difference to your other hens that are the same age have you got any pics of a few together, i look at the tails and there feet roos have much more chunky feet and stand very proud, hope this helps you nice bird what ever it turns out as

Not neccess. I had what I thought were 12 hens and 3 Roosters...found out I had "4" more roos, and THEY DO NOT CROW and are going on 21wks now. I dont know why they dont crow with the others going like crazy. But I have a total of """7""" Roos now.....

Posted an Ad in here to trade or sell them...

How about my 11 week old girl/boy? Rickie Lee or Little Ricky? This one has a bright red comb/wattles, while the other Cochin has no red yet and little tiny comb and wattles.
